So, what is the setting of a story?

The setting of a story is where the events, action of a story take place. The setting is broken up into two parts:- where and when

Where

The where refers to a physical place where the action of the story unfolds. It can be in a house, forest, beach or cemetery.

When

The when refers to a time. It can be daytime, nighttime, rainy or sunny weather.

The setting of a story creates the place and time in which the characters of a story can accomplish their goals.
